Statistics: Russia’s car output doubles to 41,100 in July

MOSCOW, Aug 23 (PRIME) -- Russia’s car output more than doubled on the year and but fell by 4.3% on the month to 41,100 vehicles in July, the Federal State Statistics service said on Wednesday.

Production of trucks increased by 29% on the year and decreased by 13.5% on the month to 12,400.

In January–July, the car output fell by 18.6% on the year to 244,000 vehicles and the truck production increased by 8.7% on the year to 87,400 units.
